Caspar forlag (Caspar publishing company or just 'Caspar') is a small company that specialises in the publication of high quality academic books in Mathematics Education and Education. caspar forlag aims to serve students, teachers and others working in teachers’ professional development through the production of materials that focuses on the quality of teaching and learning.

Caspar publishing company was founded in 1981. Through the years Caspar has published books that have responded to changes in Mathematics Education and Education, and have contributed to the continuing developments in these fields.

The directors of Caspar are active in the field of teacher education, the combination of well-informed current knowledge of developments and Caspar’s size the company is able to respond quickly and effectively to the needs of students and teachers as they arise.

We continue to expand the list of titles in the areas of Mathematics Education, Education, Early years education, thus directing attention to key areas of study and development in higher education, learning and teaching, and research methods. As a small publishing company in Norway the majority of titles on Caspar’s list are books written in Norwegian, serving specifically the needs of students and teachers in Norway.

However Caspar aims to contribute to the international arena through the publication of significant, specialist books in English. The following books are available in English.
